Kris Ripley (born July 26, 1986), better known by his stage name Ripley, is an American electronic musician and singer-songwriter. Raised in Northeast Kansas and living in Southern Kansas, Ripley joined the American post-hardcore band Unheard Apology as the Bass guitarist and backing vocals in 2007, and recorded one studio E.P. with the band (Fashionably Late, 2010) before leaving to pursue a solo career in 2012.  He started a rap/pop project under the name "The Nightmare In Your Closet" in 2010. Opening for hundreds of acts such as A Day To Remember, Mickey Avelon, Attack Attack, Brokencyde, Jeffery Starr, and many more.
